The Nature and Development Foundation (NDF) is inviting experienced consultants to undertake studies on five (5) different topics across the forestry and mining sectors of Ghana. The studies are part of the project ‘Building Active Actors and Systems to Support (BAASS) Deforestation-Free Commodities in Ghana and Liberia’ which is receiving funding from UK Aid through the Forest Governance Markets and Climate (FGMC) Programme.

List of Studies

LOT 1_Mapping of mining areas inside and outside forest reserves in Ghana

LOT 2_Study on the readiness of companies to meet legal timber requirements.

LOT 3_Study on the health or state of timber trade federations in Ghana

LOT 4_Study on stakeholder perception, support or otherwise of galamsey, mining in forest reserves, community mining and related matters

LOT 5_Study on overland export of timber from Ghana to understand the dynamics and its contribution to illegal timber trade in Ghana
